Meet Tank

Guardian of the Open Road

The armored bear who set out to protect every RV traveler's fuel — and built The RV Fuel Vault to do it.

The Night That Changed Everything

Every great invention starts with a problem that demands a solution.

Tank discovers fuel thieves targeting an RV at a campground at night

Tank has always loved the open road. For years, he roamed the highways and back roads of America alongside his fellow RV travelers — the kind of folks who live for golden sunsets, campfire conversations, and the freedom only a motorhome can provide.

But one night at a quiet campground deep in the mountains, Tank witnessed something that made his blood boil. Under the cover of darkness, a thief crept up to a fellow traveler's Super C motorhome and started siphoning diesel right from the exposed fuel caps.

Tank scared the thief off that night — he is an armored bear, after all — but the damage was done. Not just to that one rig, but to Tank's sense of security for the entire RV community. He realized that every Super C and Class C motorhome with exposed fuel caps was a sitting target.

“If nobody else is going to fix this,” Tank growled, “then I will.”

Built in Tank's Workshop

From blueprints to production — every detail designed with one goal: protection.

Tank didn't just want a quick fix — he wanted something purpose-built for the rigs he loved. He spent months in his workshop, paws covered in grease, poring over blueprints and testing prototypes.

He chose a high-strength, fiber-filled polymer — 3/16" thick, virtually unbreakable, and completely non-corrosive. No rust. No degradation from salt, oil, diesel, or extreme temperatures. Tank knew this cover had to survive everything the road could throw at it.

He added a simple keyed lock — straightforward, reliable, and effective. No combinations to forget, no batteries to replace. Just turn the key and your fuel is secure. And he made sure installation was simple: bolt-on in 8–15 minutes with basic hand tools. No modifications to the motorhome required.

When it was done, Tank held up his creation and smiled. He called it The RV Fuel Vault — because that's exactly what it is: a vault for your fuel.
